Weekday rides

Post by The Doctor » Mon Jun 25, 2007 1:53 pm

Does anyone have an interest in any weekday rides or evening rides? This way those of us who work the weekends lately can get in on some rides

I usually ride around on Thursdays but any day is the same for me.
I like Thursdays - Fridays seems to be more traffic on the roads.
This week though looks like we should stick pontoons on the sides of the bikes.
When it dries up some I can buzz south to Venus then West to Nemo.

Most of the Ride Leaders work Monday thru Friday, although some get every other Friday off.

If there is enough interest in a weekday ride then maybe one of the 'special few' will lead a Friday ride.

Interested in a weekday ride are we? Well PM me I'm planning a ride and since I'm not a ride leader I think the rules are that we are not able to post any info, lets just say its going to be a four day ride. Any one interested PM me I'm heading out late this afternoon.

good luck with that since most ride leaders work during the week, and it has to be a club sponsored ride, not just a ride with other club members

I will try and lead some rides on my off Fridays. I could possibly lead a ride after work but it wouldn't start till 6:00 or so and we'd have to be even more aware of traffic then usual.

I need to increase my meatball ride numbers and since it stays light out pretty late I figured this might be a way to do it since I seem to be working most weekends.

I only work weekends since I am in my last semester and have externships and court rotation and all that jazz, a weekday ride sounds BRILLIANT!!! PM me if this comes to fruition!!!

What's this about FRUIT? Weekday rides for Meatballs will have to come with some coaxing with the Ride Leaders! :D We'll work on it, OK?

I have some PTO stored up ... I'll see what I can do. You guys start PM'ing each other and decide on the best day. I don't want to throw away a day off and have ONE person show up. :(
