Less than 48 hours! Bike Night is open to all and pretty much REQUIRED for Meatballs. See you guys in a couple of days.

I know of a secret medical solution to the intestinal parasite, the stomach flu bug included. It was handed down thru the generations from way back starting sometime in the late 1700's. My Great, great, great, great... grandfather passed this down. The first hour or two are pretty rough, but by the next day you'll only have a headache, and the day after you'll be good to go.

Scotch Whisky, double shots every 10 minutes until 1/2 of the bottle is consumed. And not those little 750ml bottles either. The real "fith" sized bottle.
-
But seriously, the first hour or two are the roughest.

Yeah, that works cause the first hour or two, you are puking your guts up from being drunk, then the headache comes from hangover. The parasite got flushed down the toilet somewhere along the way. :-?

I will be there, on bike, rain or shine.

I'll try and make it, but I just bought a house last Friday and I've been slowly moving in all week. I have ridden the bike everyday to and from work even in this rain though

Sorry you're not making it, Terry! :( I'll take it as a personal task to drink your beer FOR YOU.

For the REST of you ... it's been a while since we've gotten together for a Bike Night due to other club things going on. Plan on being there and riding if the weather will allow it. If it's nasty out ... the party is still happening! If your cage isn't a possibility, post up and we'll find you a ride.

Meatballs (Avi excluded due to being a puss), come on out and help the NEW Meatballs get signed up. Don't forget to announce yourselves, even if it's quietly to the nearest member.

See everyone tomorrow night for an evening of kicking tires and telling lies! :-)

Bike night > wet leathers

DarcShadow needs to sign my ride card for 6/10/07 and 6/24/07

whoot.

Someone should code a ride card for the forum...

WHAT? ... You didn't get it documented? If it isn't in writing ... it didn't happen! :-) We had the ride cards last weekend. DS said he would sign them at lunch. If you didn't have a pen, guess you have to ride ONE MORE TIME!

If you're going to get DS to back date it, do it on the sly ... don't expect Ride Leaders to remember who was there and when it was. We have enough on our minds between planning rides ...setting up alternate Leaders ... figuring out how to plan the route around people that 'have to be home by xxxx' ... making sure we have backup for 'pick up'. It's a lot of fun leading, but it's also a lot of work.

We'll work on getting some sort of ONLINE form, but it takes time. If anyone has the experience and can help out, we can take that approach. In the mean time, the signed form has worked for a few thousand years....guess we can deal with it for a little while. :D

Hmmm, YOU weren't there last weekend, were you? Guess your Meatball just lost out on one of his claims. :-)

James was there ... I'll vouch for him, but Don WASN'T!

Slick you said Friday night. DAMN!!! THe ride was on Sunday. I went out both nights and got home at 4am sunday morning. Ask your meatball. My eyes looked glazed with Budlight and Crown.

I suppose at one point, I could get motivated, and write something to track rides... Would be a neat plugin for phpbb, to display the number of rides in your profile.

bird325 has 87 club rides total:

4 rides as a meatball
20 rides as moderate participant
20 rides as moderate ride leader
20 rides as intermediate participant
20 rides as intermediate leader
2 rides that failed due to mechanical reason
1 ride that crashed out

bird325 has 3 track days
bird325 has 1 race

I'll think about how to do it... needs to be a verification system of some kind.... Maybe linked to a calendar. I click the day, and the ride leader for that day that gets a notification. Ride leader responds to that notification, says yes, digi was on that ride, and now the ride count is incremented by 1.

Maybe it would also be good for scheduling rides too... forum based communication tends to suck for quick information, a calendar that ties into the forum... good stuff.
