Howdy Again Folks

Post by OldTLSDoug » Sat Nov 11, 2006 11:02 pm

Been away a while and noticed the new board, looks very nice. I used to be DRZ or TLR Doug, can't remember which.

I am now OldTLSDoug. I met Kelly and a few others over the Summer and generally have had a blast. I traded off the DR-Z400SM for another TL, this time a 2001 TLS. I have revalved the forks, I used GP Suspension parts and if I might say so, they rock. Pretty easy to install, redid rebound and compression damping and added new adjuster needles too. Resprung and it is just right.

Still riding the KTM at the track, on my 3rd set of slicks and still loving it. I was just at Cresson on Thursday, was a hoot, a little slick but fun.

Nice to be around again, click for a big 'un

Yes, I used to be DRZDoug, swapped the DR-Z for the TLS and some cash.

TLS is sweet, I rode it at the track the other day, but only did 3 laps. After the KTM it is a heavy pig and I am lazy. I installed GP Suspension compression and rebound valving, new springs and new needles. The front is very nice and infinitely adjustable. The Ohlins rear and a new 800# spring are the business.

Kelly, damn right, I am glad to be asleep at night instead of starting up nuclear plants. Was fun watching Bettina and Cody stay up late though.
