Word of advice for any and all maintenance

Post by Meat of Snail » Wed Jan 13, 2010 11:21 am

FYI, if you have any maintenance planed for your ride that requires taking it to the shop, it is a good idea to get it done before the riding season starts. As the riding season creeps up, so does racing season. What this means to most riders is that shops will start becoming overwhelmed with work and standard work will start requiring reservations and/or leaving your beloved speed machine at the shop for several days (aka, you will be missing valuable riding opportunities when the ride season gets here).

The suggestion here is to get your required maintenance done before the riding season starts, as you will find it easier to get in and out of shops with your machine helping you maximize your riding opportunities.
