So according to the rules of Texas weather, that means it will be clear, beautiful and sunny, right?

Probably. I just don't like to see them calling for rain on a track day.

Thats the 7 day forecast. So by Texas weather standards. That just means whatever is going to cause the rain is either going to stall, and will come thru on Monday, or it will be faster than expected and come thru on Thursday.

I dunno, that one day up at ECR was actually alot of fun. A soaking wet track makes it REALLY easy to slide the rear...

Though, of course, rain at an MSRC trackday sucks, because they close the track!

LoL, it wasn't raining that day, which was the reason so many people crashed. Most of the track was fine and grippy, with a few very slick spots here and there that could catch you off-guard. If the entire track was soaked, I bet there would not have been nearly as many crashes. I was actually talking about the trackday back in May of '08.

Now they are calling for a high of 48 and scattered thunderstorms.

I hope that's an error.

You can just sit in the truck and not get wet, but chances are if the weather is bad, MSRC will call off the event

true...but to sit in the truck would require me to park in the M..U..D.. for which I do not want any part of right now.

The weather has to be pretty bad for the track to call it off. RideSmart may call it off but for the most part unless there is a tornado in the area the track is open.

So, the next DFW event is a weekend at ECR, 4/24-25. Anybody thinking about running both days? If not, which day is preferable for you? It will probably fill up quick with all the free credits from this day now available...

I had enough electrical problems with Yamaha. I'll take the few mechanical problems of Suzuki over any electrical problems

two different bikes and the same problem, it might be the nut behind the wheel.

Now I think I have a charging system problem, like I had on the R1!! You cured it!
