Even if you do get an American car that was "built here" it was built in Mexico, Canada, Pakistan, and China. It was just assembled here.

I'd love to argue with you because my garage is full of Kawasakis, but the only Suzuki I ever owned I bought new and rode for about 35k problem-free miles, so yeah. Good choice.

As for quality I have been on the Kawi for 42k miles with *knock on wood* no problems.... Just the regular maint stuff. And I havent been all nice to it. As for SONY I have lots of SONY stuff and would buy more today as it has always lasted well for me.
