Fun machining project
Heres a few pictures I mentioned to George last week. Thought the majority might like to see what I used to do for a living
A few days later we had this:
The finished product is a mold used to vacuum form plastic swimwear hangers. The initial design was rejected because the designers wife was pregnant and he copied her, umm, anatomy. The customer said "thanks for that but we asked for C cups not DD!"

Re: Fun machining project
Seeing that I am not too far from a Double D, I think I would rather pass on fake boobies for now that are not much bigger than my current state (it would be different if I was as flat as a piece of wood), but I would rather use 3K on something awesome like...hmm...a track bike!!! Oh wait, Fixxer is going to be buying a track bike ...ahem...for me and him.Firewa11 wrote:For about $3k you can be!Telomere wrote:Nice. Too bad I am not Double D.

If you're close to a DD, we can hook you up for much cheaper. We're going to need a box cutter, some ziplock bags, and a compressor...Telomere wrote:Seeing that I am not too far from a Double D, I think I would rather pass on fake boobies for now that are not much bigger than my current state (it would be different if I was as flat as a piece of wood), but I would rather use 3K on something awesome like...hmm...a track bike!!! Re: Fun machining project
Thanks for the offer but at this moment in time, I am content with my current cup. If in the future, I feel the need for round and square , you will be the first person I contact.
