We really need to try and organize for a bunch of us to head up to TWS. After this month, Ridesmart is doing TWS again on 09/03/12, which should be far enough ahead of time for people to make plans.

Yeah, I didn't realize that either. How about 10/21/12 (Sunday)?

The 3rd is labor day...some people have that day off. :)

Oh, and if you're going UP to TWS it's going to be a pretty long drive. :))

well hell, is anyone going to show up?

This ride may have to be changed to an intermediate only (need se see if we can get a second RL). Benny is not able to lead Saturday but he plans to lead one Sunday. Stay tuned for updates.

Update: My bike needs a new tire. It's on the way, but unless it gets here and I get it on the bike, I won't be able to attend on Saturday.

I'll also be starting a new thread to ask about tire advice n whatnot! I'd appreciate input!

Ok, Jim has agreed to lead so we will be having two groups, a moderate and an intermediate. If this is your first time with the club, or you're new to group riding please join the MODERATE group. If you've been with us before, and are comfortable with a slightly quicker pace, and a dressed for the crash (you always dress for the crash not the ride) then feel free to join the intermediate group.

Both groups will meet at Sonic and leave at 9:00am, repeat (for El Diabro) 9:00AM

*double facepalm*

One for darc for the typo, and one for fixxer for not exercising his mod powers and just fixing it.

I'll join the moderate ride if it happens... Sunday would be a better day for me to ride though. Either way i'll be checking for updates! It would be my first group ride.. omg

Weather showing a chance of rain and cool temps, high of only 73. Should be a good day to ride!

Why did I think this was changed to sunday :HeadScratch: ? Good thing you said something about it being on Saturday (in the bike night thread) because I would have shown up a day late and a dollar short :SideSplittingLaughter: ...I would have pulled a striple just have some Sonic sweet tea :D

Don't knock the sweet tea - I still sometimes ride all the way to White Settlement just for their tea. :D :) :-)

I may not make this ride or I may have to cut out early due to the fact that the 13 year old has a solo contest for band at 2pm. :-o

More like DAMN BAND PROGRAM :-o I am sure that solo is like 10 minutes too!!! Ugh... Fixxer definitely needs to be on the ride to finish his training so if I need to sit this one out, I think I might be ok but you never know, I might go :-? .

My tire's in! I've gotta get it mounted and balanced, but unless I say otherwise in the next few days, I'm in!
