Yea K & N are ok filters, you are mostly paying for the name though. One thing i really do like about their filters is you can use a wrench, as it has a "bolt" on the end of it. Sounds about right price wise, not good/not bad. Normall you can find a deal and get it cheaper. Did they use dino oil or fully syn???

I changed my own oil once and it cost me hundreds of dollars.

Usually it only costs me like $40 tho

Yeah, Fixxer learned the "don't drink and wrench" lesson the hard way. :(

Busted the oil pan, bought a brand new one, was drinking, broke off bolts in the bottom of the motor, stripped out one hole, cut off one stabilizer bar, finally loaded it up and hauled it to a professional and paid them to fix it all.

I love making mistakes while wrenching. I learn lots and vow to never repeat them. I'd rather learn this way than pay some overpriced unrecognized diploma outlet to not teach me.
