Re: Maintenance Day
I think a keyring should be given out as a reward - as consolation for the days biggest maintenance screwup perhaps? I'll PM some staff to work out a design.
PS dont forget to indicate which weekend you'd prefer in the poll.111/James wrote:I'm in. A billet fwmr key ring would be nice as well.

Re: Maintenance Day
I don't guess the poll shows up on tapatalk, but I voted.
I need to adjust my clutch and not just the clutch lever tension. I mean clutch set screws and whatever else in the actual clutch. Hopefully we can do that without removing the crank case. If not I will need to get another gasket before hand.

if your talking about slip adjustment there is a "door" on the clutch cover111/James wrote:I don't guess the poll shows up on tapatalk, but I voted.

Re: Maintenance Day
I just cut a sample keyring in acrylic. Thanks to Darkshadow and Dragonfly for the fwmr logo. It only took an hour to cut which isnt bad considering the level of detail. I'll cut another one right now including the outline and the item will be finished. A little polishing will bring it up nice. I'm thinking these might be best if made from acrylic as an aluminum version would do serious damage if used with a motorcycle key.

Re: Maintenance Day
Looks like it came out really well.
And I just realized this Saturday is the leader in the poll, same day as my planned ride. Hope I'm not stealing anyone way from the maintenance day. I believe there are going to be a couple of ride leaders on the ride, perhaps one of them could lead the group to your place after I split off to go home and take care of the kiddo.

I haven't voted in the poll because I'm good with all the dates.

Just curious, can your machine do this?RC30rdr wrote:I just cut a sample keyring in acrylic. Thanks to Darkshadow and Dragonfly for the fwmr logo. Re: Maintenance Day
FYI, Some people have said they will be coming over after 2pm. If anyone has a lot of work they want to do and are worried it will take a long time feel free to come earlier.
