Lotus Bike

Post by 111 » Mon Feb 24, 2014 11:59 am

Nice Lotus bike. Too bad only 100 will be produced. Looks too uncomfortable for a daily rider, but still a bike I'd like to own.

They bolted the foot pegs to the swingarm. WTF Lotus? You need a variable-length shift linkage to make that work.

Why are they making it? Clearly it's not intended to be ridden in anything other than a straight line and I doubt any of them are ever actually ridden.

I looked at the long rake on the front end and thought it would handle like shit.

Most likely it is for publicity and not meant to be ridden.

That windscreen does a fantastic job containing the rider in full tuck, as long as that rider is as thick as a sheet of paper.

Looks like a combination between a Tron bike and an Indian.

Probably better go with "Trondian", Indron sounds a little too close to epic corporate failure.

I think if you ask Lotus they would say that's British Racing Green.

Martini paint scheme, drained of fluids, on display in my living room, please. Say what you will about apparent capabilities or practicality, but that thing is a fucking work of art. Just beautiful.
