Your bike parked in front of a phone booth

Just curious, is that a working phone booth? I don't see a phone?

Please note that the word "working" does not appear in the challenge, nor does any requirement for a phone to be present. Simply that you have to be parked in front of a phone booth. Given that the one in my picture is quite clearly a phone booth (it's even labeled, "telephone"), I am quite confident of it's satisfaction of the posted challenge.

Ah, in that case, no, it's not working, and there is no telephone present. It serves only as a semi-public hooking-up space ("don't worry honey, no one can see us in here"), and occasionally as a changing room for Clark Kent.

Maybe we need a further clarification of the exact definition being used for "booth"...

It seems to me that the middle definition was the original intent...and the man throwing down the challenge says he knows where one is. Hmmm, does he get to participate in the challenge???

Technically, the surrounding shroud around the phone provides privacy of the telephone call. It is a partially enclosed area and phone services there are provided.

So, you can argue the point all day long, but there are many instances where the term "Telephone Booth" simply means a public payphone in a small shroud, just like the one I took a pic of with my bike in front of. And it was working
