Indy cars in May

Indy cars in May

I know most of you don't care but I found this interesting. Indy cars are running two races in Indianapolis this May. This Saturday they are running the road corse and they are running it reverse from the direction MotoGP runs it. This also means they will be running "backwards" down the front straight of the oval. It'll be weird seeing cars going right to left from the grandstands.

Then 25th will be the 500 on the oval.

Basically the old F1 layout, then?

I've seen the Indy cars run at TMS...regardless of the direction, they are wicked fast. And the smell of the burning fuel is almost intoxicating. Plus, you can get really great seats...kind of sit where you want almost. Take ear plugs, the shriek is unbelievable, and really wears on your ears after a while.
