Cycle Shell

Post by Striple » Wed Jun 25, 2014 8:54 am

I have three cycle shells available. For those of you that are not familiar with them, they are essentially motorcycle storage platforms that are weather-resistant and can be used to store bikes longterm. They each consist of a 10-ft base that you park the bike on, then you simply pull the framed covering over it, and strap it down. It takes about ten seconds to open/close and strap/unstrap. I was so impressed with the performance of these things that I bought one of each of my three bikes, so now that I have garage space I have three of these units for sale. They do great in both extreme heat and in frosty winters. Never had the slightest problem, and the bikes always stayed clean and dry. They are vented, so you can park the bike hot, and still close the cycle shell with peace of mind.

They each cost $325-375 new. I'm asking $175 each.

2 smaller ones and one large one. I'm going to measure them tonight to determine the exact size, but the larger one fits the C-14.

One of the two smaller ones has a broken frame spoke. Easy and cheap to fix, but I'll let that one go for $150.

The larger one sold earlier today. The two remaining ones are both the "cruiser" model (67" height x 45" width). As mentioned previously, one of those two has a broken frame spoke, and is available for $150. The other one is immaculate, and is available for $175.

I'd slap on a couple of reflective "Danger - Radioactive" or "Beware of Dog" stickers on also, for added security. Maybe a nice "Kawasaki" sticker on one to lure Polo.
