From the looks of that helmet it's not very safe.
Unfortunately if someone had a bad wreck with that on, it wouldn't do much.
Coverage from gear is very important no matter what flavor bike you ride.
Knowledge of safety is key to riding, in my opinion.
You probably agree even us Suzuki rider's deserve to be safe, even though you're trying to hate.
Of course, I'm just kidding.
Unless I'm being completely serious.

The female of the species, while full of cunning and guile, often lacks the restraint (when scorned) to completely veil their true intent and feelings. I could see through the ruse clearly. :SideSplittingLaughter:

Seriously, thanks for being a good sport...I couldn't restrain myself when I saw "Suzie helmet". And honestly, it wasn't directed at you or Telo so much as the other girls who ride them. :SideSplittingLaughter: :SideSplittingLaughter: (Damn, did I say that out loud?).

Now, really seriously, sure they are great bikes...I keep trying to talk myself into a track bike...and a couple of them are at the top of my list. I even almost bought one before the Triumph...they were making some smokin' hot deals, I was just looking for a little more comfort, and maybe uniqueness. I now have brethren like Miles and Will and Jeff and Benny, and former brethren like Thomas and Dave...uniqueness, check! :)

All is well! Haha I think it's okay for me to speak on Telo's behalf- neither she nor I would have taken it to heart or personally- never worry about that!- always be yourself! We can roll with you big dogs. :rockout: This great group of people is a bunch of wise-ass pranksters with open minds, great big senses of humor and even bigger hearts and I know would be there in a heartbeat for anything. I think we should all dress up in drag in honor of Robin Williams and sing "We Are Family" (from the movie ,"The Birdcage"- worth watching!).

Other than the stuff they have you ride at MSF I have no other personal experience to compare my GSXR riding with so I'm not really in a place to tease about performance or anything. She sure is comfy! I sat on a few other bikes and just didn't like how I felt or was positioned. My dad did have a Triumph years ago and he told us he would carry around some extra nuts and bolts in his pocket because stuff was always falling off on rides. :) Always go with what works best for you I say!

You mean everyone doesn't carry around extra nuts and bolts? I actually have a very stylish fanny pack for mine.

See, Triumph and Buell riders have something in common :-) Jon needed an extra bolt for his kickstand :-)

Fanny pack? It isn't the 80's anymore. Why do think wives have such big purses? It isn't for our shit...its for all the shit the husband and kids want her to carry.

Thank you for the insight. This is a question I thought I would never have answered. I almost strain myself whenever I have to pick-up my wife's purse. Baby wipes, water bottles, juice boxes...then all of the "feminine" stuff that apparently is a requirement.

Hahahah Telo is right! Mine, when I do decide to use it, is mainly sparse, thank goodness. I once had a tiny zipped pouch (remember those Guatemalan multi-colored thread things?) that I put in my jean's pocket. ID, maybe a credit card and some cash and that's it. That's how I like it. I to have to woman up and say Don's wallet gets stuffed with my crap because I don't have said zipped pouch anymore. I just don't like carrying stuff around.
