Re: S - curve bad path

fixxervi6, S-turns are one of the trickiest turns to master. An early apex will send you off the track before you get to the second apex and a late turn will cause you to basically turn it into 2 U-turns (definitely not a quick line). Each S-turn has its own sweet spot, and just to keep you on your ...

Re: LSTD - Cresson 1.3, March 5 2011

We passed pretty much 100% of the group. We probably would have held our own in the advanced group "with the 250s!" Most of the time we tried to stick together (MoS following close behind skego) and pass the field as a pair of construction workers on old 250s. I think something came loose ...

Re: MoS, what radar detector do you have?

That is exactly right, the plus on the capacitor will go towards the positive on the battery and the negative towards the detector. As for alternate mounting methods for your detector, I would have to sit down and look at your bike for a little bit to see if any other options might make sense. FYI, ...

Re: MoS, what radar detector do you have?

I have not installed the aux laser sensor, but your approach (detector behind fairings, needing seprate location for laser) was one of the reasons they made the aux sensor. I may put mine on the rear at some point, just never got arround to doing so. Likely your capacitor is porlorized (is labled wi...

Re: MoS, what radar detector do you have?

I also get a false laser signal sometimes, only when my rpms spike near red line (rarely happens). I will likely do the capacitor at some point. I use Tailor electronics (walk in warehouse nuts/bolts type of electronics store). When I do that I could pick up an extra capacitor for you and install it...

Re: MoS, what radar detector do you have?

If you are getting false signals, it is suggested that you add a capacitor in line with the detectors power wire (somewhere in the manual it gives a min capacitor size). An inline capacitor acts as a filter in the case that signals coming through your bikes power are setting off false alarms. As for...

1) Barber was a great fun for those that went. Will you try to go next year? If Ride Smart runs there again next year, yes I will try to go. 2) What other out of state track would you like to see Ride Smart run at if they can? Ideally some place with in a days drive. Indy. 3) Add a caption to the fo...

Re: Heat at the back wheel

The only other thing you should check, if you are woried about the heat, are your bearings. Next time you have your wheel off, use your finger to make sure they turn smooth and freely (simple check that is good to do every time you have your wheels off).
