Re: Fuel Bag, thoughts?

I did not mean to try it out on a ride. I would put a little gas in it and hang it over a bucket and check it everyday until the bag is jelly and you have a mess to deal with. probably best to do it in a neighbors garage.

Re: Fuel Bag, thoughts?

regarding the longevity of a camel back holding gas--- I will bring an old bladder to the ride on sunday if you would like to run a trial. it is super old and has been out of service for a while so no loss to test.

Re: Fuel Bag, thoughts?

Interesting, so this is a soft bladder to carry gasoline externally on your bike. I'd think soslow would be all over this. hahahaha from the website: Note: The Gas Bag Fuel Safe Bladder is not a portable or long-term fuel storage container as described by ASTM, EPA, ARB or other state or federal ag...

Re: Hallett Motor Racing Circuit

Wow Shane, that is awesome. I want a button for sure on my next bike. Are you looking at a pure mx bike or thinking about the cross country machines. You mentioned KTM and totally agree with you. I like the new Yam YZ250x and think the ktm 350xc may be the perfect biek for me. I have also been consi...

Re: Before you go bashing boxer bikes

do you find that it works well on the GS? I could see how on a dirt(ish) bike with abs it could be great because you get braking without compression. When i rode the telelever last (it was 15 year ago), I found the front end felt very vague on the brakes and in corners. I am sure it would be somethi...

Re: Before you go bashing boxer bikes

looks like a cross between the old yamaha GTS 1000, a bimota tesi and a boss hoss. 'They' used to say that swingarm front ends were the future and BMW used that silly telelever set up (maybe they still do?) on lots of stuff. I have ridden a bmw r1200s with the telelever and it felt odd. Seems it is ...

Re: Dirt bike'n

i have raced with torn, they are really well run events. way better than the local tmx races i would do, you feel like a real racer at a real race. well at least until it starts, then i am back to being a very non-real racer in a very real race. all kidding aside, torn is awesome and i am hoping to ...
