Going to keep my eye on the weather, there is a chance I will do this if it doesn't fill up first.

Rick those Pics are awesome! Love the High Lift Jack on the hood! Jim, great right up and fwiw I think you did one heck of a job getting the GS through all that. Sounds like you guys had a good time despite the rain! Sometime in the next few months, maybe 2019, I will be joining the Wrangler owners...

Canceled!!! They said it was due to the rain, but I have ridden several track days that were wetter and colder than today, and the forecast was clear.

Re: COTA October 27/28
Any word on why Ridesmart canceled MSRC Oct 28th and 29th? Then a few weeks later added COTA on that weekend. I may be in for COTA if I don't buy a Jeep before Oct. In which case my "fun" allowance will be overspent for a while.

Re: MSRC Sept 9/10 1.3/1.7 CCW
Turned out to just be a typo on their end, I am now signed up for Sunday, Sept 9th 1.3 Level 1. You mean 1.5? I’m in 1.5 for the 9th. And I guess I’m off the 10th now, although I haven’t been informed of such as of now That's weird, when I signed up there was Level 1, level 2 and some motorcycle st...

I hope this isn't another foreshadowing clue, but I just tried to sign up for the Sept. 9th MSRC 1.3 and it would not accept the gift certificate I have for that event. hmmm....? Probably just a glitch, I sent them an email.

I would have stuck with the JB welded oil pan. Hell the BMW still has JB weld on the radiator from our Big Bend trip way back in the day.
The more people I talk to that have used JB weld the more I agree with you! Damn, I put it right up there with baling wire and duct tape!

IMG_20180728_181358_01.jpg Rick, have you had the Jeep out in the mud yet? What year is it? What engine does it have? Standard or automatic? I really don't have much Jeep knowledge or experience but that may change. Since our Colorado trip I have started looking at Jeeps, weighing the pros and cons...

I see that the registration is "closed" on Monday, Sept. 10 MSRC 1.7. Whats up with that? Has that day become the "make up" day? I was planning on riding that day and the days in late Oct. that have been removed from the schedule. If the "make up" day opens up I hope it...

Last Saturday, July 28 we drove to CO. Hiked some peaks. Monday afternoon we took a dirt road from Alma CO to Leadville CO. I was aware that there was a small length of the dirt road at Mosquito Pass where there was a short length of "more difficult" road. It didn't look extremely difficul...

Was this by chance the Moto-Bros guy? The guy who does the tires and light mechanical work now? He and his buddy were on the 1.3 on built Groms back in the spring. They were doing alright considering. Fits the description. I remember a Grom going down earlier this year on the 1.3, maybe that was so...

Matt, looking forward to your report as you have done enough corner working to know whats what. From my point of view, the track has never been stickier than it was today. The RS10's gave me better feedback than I am used too, they did not slip, slide or give any hint of fatigue as the day and track...
