Motion Pro chain kit vs. Stockton chain kit

Post by DemonDuck » Fri Mar 18, 2011 7:27 pm

Is there any difference between the two kits other than name? Has anyone had good or bad experience with either of these kits? I am talking about the chain breaker/rivet kit. Thanks.

I have the Motion Pro kit along with their chain alignment tool. Love em both and have already used them on at least four chains I can think of and still workin like a champ.

Just one thing....I would suggest you read and follow the directions for a couple of times till you get a good grasp on how it works. Plus...I heavily suggest grinding a rivet off like they recommend in the instructions.

I got it all done and it worked great... the pin did break when making the new chain the proper length but it did finish its job at the same time so no worries.
