I also like the Perille Diablo Rossa Corsa, great tire and not terribly expensive. As striple said, if you're relative new to track riding, a good street tire is all you need att this point. When you start getting faster or actually racing you can start looking at the DOT race tires, or full on slicks. While their track performance is down right amazing, the cost is pretty high, and life cycle prettyt short.

Ditto. Good tires, just didn't last me long and they are a bit pricey

I got them last year for going to Barber and the dragon. And then again this year, I'll use them this weekend, barber, the dragon, and hopefully get another couple of trackdays out of them. I probably wouldn't buy them for street only use though.

didn't last you long? I got 2 days at cresson, 2 days at Barber, a week at the dragon, and a day at ECR out of my first rear. It still had plenty of life, but I caught a nail somewhere. So new one went on. But yeah, like DS said, I probably wouldn't buy them just for street riding.
