Bike Night - June 14 - CANCELLED

Post by dufremle » Mon Jun 11, 2007 1:33 pm

Due to the Camping Party this weekend, we will not be holding a Bike Night at the Fox & Hound. Most of us will be at the campsite already drunk. :D

While I won't be at the campsite, I will be in Philly for the weekend. It's my birthday Friday, so I'll be joining you drunk 1400 miles away.

Right on bro  . I will ask one favor of you while you are in Philly... If you have time, go to south philly and eat a couple of cheese stakes from:

Ooooh, Geno's is goooooood.... when I was in West Chester for work we took a long lunch and went to Geno's... just beware, a lot of places in that area think that Cheez Whiz is actually cheese :-o

Haha come on now, Pats is much better than Genos :)

I lived in Philly for about 4 years before I came down here. I actually like the cheese steak from the side street vendors more than Pats, Genos or Jims.

I have doen the tase test befor and determined that (for my taste) I like Geno's better with provalone, onions, and ordered inside-out

my test was to eat a cheese steak from each place to determin my personal favorite, then to go and eat one more chease steak from the better of the two. that afternoon I had 1 Pat's cheese steat and 2.5 Geno's cheese steaks... I was happy

Cheese Wizz was actually the original ingredient for a cheese steak, I like provalone better. I will agree that most of the side stands that sell the cheese steaks are arguably better, but on the other hand Pat's and Geno's are the classics and deffinatly not to be thrown aside as bad. almost anywere in Philly or Jersy is a good place to get a cheese steak
