Opportunity for First Timers - Aug 18th and 19th

Post by Rhino » Tue Aug 07, 2012 3:56 pm

RideSmart has extended a similar offer to FWMR similar to what we did last month.

If you are a FIRST TIME track rider and would definitely be interested in riding either Saturday August 18th or Sunday August 19th, please post up. The discount we received last time was half-off, and we're hoping to get the same or similar this time around.

Again, if you are a FIRST TIME track rider and would be interested in a discount, will definitely be free that weekend, and would definitely like to sign up, please post up and let us know. We need to get a head count to send to RideSmart.

That sucks cause I REALLY want to

I think it is $70 total. P.S. all the cool kids are riding Sunday!

Keep in mind if you don't have leathers there is a $50 rental fee. This is a really great deal and shouldn't be missed. I'd love to see you out there russian

I'm don't think you can get both, but it's still cheaper with what we are offering. If it's a matter of going or not going due to leathers i'm 100% sure you can get them free. Do not let that be an excuse because it isn't one

Agreed. I can talk with Dave if that's the factor keeping you off the track.

I would think that Ridesmart would still offer the free leather rentals regardless of a discount being used because it is for first timers with RS. Dave wants to get more business. He isn't going to say either the discount or free leathers. Besides, if I gave Monster a track credit to use, she would still be able to use the free leather rental since it would be her first time to the track.

ive thought about it and dont think ill go.
1. gonna be way too fucking hot to sweat in the suit all day.
2. i need to bleed my brakes and check over the bike.
3. im currently riding on race take off slicks, i heard its not a good idea to push already pre heat cycled slicks.
4. im really fucking scared of dropping the bike right after i painted it.

First time still gets free leather rental... Im almost 100% positive on that.

Russian....
1. Not your leathers (if you do the free rentals) so dont worry about the sweat. You wont notice becuase you will have so much fun.
2. Takes about 10 minutes to bleed brakes and check over the bike... dont use it as an excuse. Get the bike ready Saturday and go to the track Sunday!
3. I dont know about the tires so I will let someone else answer this one... but there is time to put new tires on (maybe a set of Q2's) and scrub them in.
4. Dont be scared. You have a very ... very low chance of dropping the bike in level 1. Leave it in sport mode and you have even less of a chance ... hell rain mode if your that scared. DUDE really I took my bike to the track and rode level 2 a week and a half (1500 miles) after buying it. In any case you will have to do some very wrong stuff to drop the bike at level 1 pace. Make the commitment. You will not regret it.

im VERY short on $ right now because i missed my flight back from cali, had to buy another ticket. so i gotta wait to do maintenance on the bike and tires and buy the ticket/gas etc. either way i look at it, the trip will cost me at least 200 bucks and the simple fact is i dont have that much money untill i get my next check :(

I can spare a few bucks to what I consider a good cause. I know the feeling of track day broke. I probably will not be able to afford next weekend either.
