Sept. Ride Smart Half Off Give Away
3 trackdays in Sept, one Monday Sept. 3rd at TWS, and two Sept. 22nd/23rd at ECR.
Answer the following 3 questions for your chance to win a half off track credit. As always the half off must be used by the winner and must be used in Sept. If something happens and you can't make it after winning the runner up will receive the discount.
There are no right or wrong answers, but please give them some thought and serious responses (to at least the first 2 anyway. )
Drawing will be held Aug. 20th, 9:00am.
1) What drew you to FWMR?
2) What would you like to see the club do to attract and retain new people?
3) What is knick-knack, and why did the old man play it on my door?

1) What drew you to FWMR?
The Force. Oh wait, you said give it some thought. The fact that safe riding was required, and the opportunity to learn how to be a better rider by going to trackdays because I wouldn't have done them alone.
2) What would you like to see the club do to attract and retain new people?
I'm not sure of how to become more visible as a club, but if people don't stay, I do not think it is the club's fault.
3) What is knick-knack, and why did the old man play it on my door?
Knick knack was before the paddy wack. Have you ever tried to play it on anything but a door? It doesn't work as well

Re: Sept. Ride Smart Half Off Give Away
1) What drew you to FWMR?Loose women and cheap booze?...wait wait wrong forum. I meant to say FWMR has the same values as a motorcycle rider that i carry
2) What would you like to see the club do to attract and retain new people?we need to get our name out there, everywhere! Retain new people...we need to show we want them here
3) What is knick-knack, and why did the old man play it on my door?Oh man this is an old story that over the years has been changed one to many times. Luckly I know the truth. It all started back early nineteen hundreds. Now my great great uncle Cleatus was just a young boy at the time and like many other youth at the time he was bored. Lucky for him he had gotten a ball for christmas to play with. Now at the time it had been raining hard for several days and he wasn't allowed to play with the ball in doors. But this didn't stop Cleatus, nope, he would go into another room and throw the ball against the wall and catch it. My great great great aunt Mary would come into the room yelling at him for making all that noise. On her way out she slammed the door in which Cleatus threw the ball in her direction in anger. Luckly the door was so solid it hardly made a sound when the ball hit it. This gave him the chance to play with the ball all he wanted. Now you might be thinking what "knick-knacks" has to do with this...well give me and minute and you will find out.
Every day he played with that ball throwing it against the wall, even when it was sunny outside. Soon friends begin to wonder where he was. He invited them into his room and shut the door and showed them what he had been playing the whole summer. They wanted to play as well so they made up some rules about catching the ball and dropping it. They eventually name the game "wall ball". One day during an intense game of "wall ball" his mother opend up the door and walked in to tell him dinner was ready. The four boys stood there scared they were going to be in trouble, but when ask what they were doing little Cleatus said, "playing knick-knack mom". She didn't know that it was code for "wall ball" and just thought the boys were being silly.
Now you may be wondering why the old man played knick-knack on the door...well Cleatus grew up, but was admited to a mental hospitil where he continued to play "wall ball" or "knick-knack" as some might call it. Whenever someone would speak of him they called him the "old man" and how he played knick-knack on the door....all the way until he died, right there in that mental hospital.
So there you have it, the story of the old man, door and his love for knick-knack

1) What drew you to FWMR?
I looked all over the internet for a club that I could learn from. Believe it or not FWMR at the time was the ONLY club that seemed mature, safe, still fast, and organized. (little did I know) Then when I had a warm welcome on the Forums followed by a warm welcome at my first bike night.
2) What would you like to see the club do to attract and retain new people?
Would a bikini bike wash be to much? Could we raise enough money to have our own clubhouse like on bikerboys? Seriously thought I think we grow fast enough as it is. If we grow to fast we loose the family atmosphere and unity.
3) What is knick-knack, and why did the old man play it on my door?
A knick-knack is a trinket. He played it on your door just to see if he could.
