Thought I might give it a try next time I adjust my chain.Here's a trick for you to find perfect chain tension.
Loosen the adjusters all the way so your chain is beyond sloppy. Take a phillips head screw driver (medium size) and stick the shaft between the chain and rear sprocket. Turn the wheel so that the screw driver (still in the sprocket) is now approximately 45 degrees back from where the chain meets the sprocket. Tighten the adjusters to fit snug as it sits with the screw driver still jammed between the sprocket and chain. When you take the screw driver out, You will have perfect (or close enough to it) chain length...
Y'all can steal that one and pass it on. Old racer trick I learned from an old sponsor...

I've used the screwdriver deal to pull the rear wheel tight against the stops but never to "set" the slack.

Yeah that's old school... Of course it makes an difference on how thick the screwdriver shift is... And the depth of the sprocket valleys
