New video of Rick

Post by shilka99 » Thu Aug 07, 2014 7:02 pm

To everyone who hasnt seen the Ridesmart Facebook updates, heres the video I'm about to post. Its an excerpt of my coaching session with Rick last year.
Now that we're getting help from Sena I'll be posting a lot of these videos on Facebook. If you see one of yourself it would be really helpful if you could comment as each one will be about a particular coaching topic and I'd love to see a dialog develop.

I didnt, but it was the only way I could get 2 watermark logos to display. next time I'll put a slightly off-white color into the RS so it shows up.

Thanks guys. Heres the next one. Not of Rick but its hopefully still interesting to watch.
And I changed the hex value of the white in the RS logo. I think it came out looking much better.

Those are coming out nice. Great look at the coaching and great way to advertise it. It's making me want to get out there for a session with the sena's.

Why do I always think this thread is of the video of me cleaning the glue off of his neck around his incision with nail polish remover????

Because you're sniffing too much glue and nail polish remover?

So here is a question: Does everyone who participates in a track day get to pair up with the instructor via Sena and get coaching while riding?

When I did it at Level 1, I requested Shaun as an instructor, and he was gracious enough to fit me in for a session. It's invaluable in my estimation, but a word of caution...like everything else good, it just makes you want more of it.

Also, you can like rent him out for the day also, if I'm not mistaken. I think it's the "Rent an Aussie" program.

When you're at a Ridesmart track day, you can request an instructor and you'll be placed in a group of riders. This group will be anywhere from 4 to 8 people who have all requested instruction. I'll take everyone out either individually or in groups of up to 3 people. I'll follow each student and get video of everyone - sometimes from the front looking back and from behind looking forward.

At this point, we've only been able to use the Sena radios for either a full day of private coaching like I did this weekend and individual sessions at COTA.

If you'd like to try it out for a session or two, sign up for a Ridesmart day and I can introduce you to the addiction that is riding on a track.
If you'd like a full day of coaching though, send me a PM and we can talk about what you want to achieve and how we can make it happen.

Shaun.

LOL Terry, thank you! One day I will join the elite addict ranks with you! :D

Shaun, wow, awesome! That sounds like a great plan! As I gain more practice and experience and Don and I agree I'm ready for a track day I will definitely hit you up and maybe we can come up with a game plan!
