I'm not a big fan of these rides, I'll never lead or participate in one (I think they are a nuances, boring, and carry too much risk) but that being said many people do, and so long as they don't break the law they should be able to travel unmolested same as any other motorist.

This cop sprayed the group, one of the FM51 riders said several people had to pull over due to being unable to breath, the people filming from the truck got sprayed too.

Best I can tell nothing, they complied with existing laws, I think it was just a cop with a sore ass.

I would really like to see police hold their own accountable, I think it would give credibility back to the police.

Yeah. You'd also think in today's day and age, they would have enough sense not to do something like this knowing there would in fact be multiple cameras recording everything.

So either the guy is brick dumb and lucky to still have a job, or he was told to do anything and everything to stop the group.

Heard a large group go be me earlier yesterday morning. From just the sounds alone, there was a lot of law breaking going on.....

Would seem to me the riders that got hit with the mace could file assult charges with that vid as evidence. But that was a pretty short clip who knows what all happened vefore that clip.

And the plot thickens. My wife knows this guy and I've met him a couple times. She says he's had issues lately.

Sounds like he needs to be reprimanded and put on extended leave so he can chill out.

I'd rather see criminal charges, if this was a civilian doing this they would be brought up on criminal charges.

Heard an update on the drive into work today. The truck he had pulled over was filming the bikes, and he pulled them over cause they were going too slow. ha! They also said that when he used the mace/pepper spray, the wind blew it back into his face as well as the truck he had pulled over. And naturally the cop said he feared for his safety which is why he was spraying passersby.
