Good read. The bikes are sexy, that's for sure...the purtiest around to me. Other than MVRider, I don't know anyone who rides one however. I wonder if parts availability hurts them also, I think Pete had to wait a while on parts.

Cost of parts doesn't help either. I think his headlight was something like $1200.

We don't need no stinkin' headlights...wait, maybe that's taillights.

Seriously, you guys are joking, right? Or is the instrument cluster built-in?

I don't remember exactly what it was, but I know it was expensive.

Didn't they just get spun-off from Merceds?

Asphalt and Rubber has a great write-up explaining the situation.

nope, not joking. Rock took out the glass cover of the headlight, light actually still worked but was exposed so the next rock would take it out. Anyway, the assembly was crazy expensive and had to be sent from Italy so took a couple of months to show up in addition to the outrageous cost.

I wadded up my pretty lil Honda on that ride. My mistake cost about twice what his headlight did.

MV files chapter 11

I wonder what this means to my pocketbook as an MV owner. I hope my warranty is still good.
