Pretty slick, simple idea. Does need a front chock of some kind though and I'd still strap the front wheel down to ensure it doesn't bounce up and out of the wheel chock, just to be safe.

Re: T-Rex strapless restraint
I think I would still go with the pitbull trailer restraint because it uses the axle.

Re: T-Rex strapless restraint
I personally like my Pit-Bull trailer restraint system also. I hauled my bike 1100 miles to Arkansas and back, and the last 100 or so was twisty, curvy, hilly and I only slowed down enough to stay of the ditches. Worked really well.

They use the axle as well. They have an axle slider that should be used. The web pages says the swing arm stand spools are not strong enough.

I'll give Pit Bull kudos for over-engineering in most cases.

I like this. Pit Bull don't work for all bikes but it seems this system would. I don't think it would be any less secure than the Pit Bull.

Thumbs up for T-Rex in general. I have a pit bull stand and a TRex - not much of a difference but a huge cost difference. Good guys, too - been to their shop a few times.
