Well that explains why my search came up with zilch, other that a SBK season preview.

Good. Doing what Rossi should have done 10 years ago. Cashed out and move on.

Just got done reading that. Was coming back to post it up.

Wonder if he will be able to do well next year on a Ducati. I don't think he will myself. He isn't the type of rider ..... Only Stoner has been able to do well on one and that was by riding at the very edge and even over the edge. Lorenzo needs absolute control not the other way around. But we will see.

It's a very different bike than Stoner or Rossi rode. The Andrea boys have been really competitive this year. It'd be interesting if their success reduces or eliminated the concessions that Ducati received just in time for Lorenzo.

While it is different I still don't believe it is as stable as the Yami. Id be willing to bet the Andrea boys are willing to ride more aggressive and on the edge than Lorenzo. I guess we will see. I just really don't like Lorenzo so I am hoping bad 2 years from him. :))

An amazing race by Rossi this time. Not the type of race I like at all but great pace and all.

I was shocked to see it that's for sure, he said he changed the gas tank and felt more comfortable with this one

I think it has a bunch to do with the tires. He has more experience on the Michelins than anyone by a whole lot. In fact most of the top guys have no experience or only a year on them and they are very different from what they are use to. I was reading an article about it and it made a bunch of sense.

Now while I do agree that its a boring race when one person runs away and is never challenged the tires are not the problem. Yes they are different and people will have to get use to them but to say the tires need to change to make you competitive is silly because everyone is on the same tires... or has the same choices of tires. The riders and teams simply have to adapt and learn to be fast on the new tires and such.

Yesterday's race was in Spain...not Italy.
