Re: riding gear in metroplex
Moto Liberty and Cycle Gear, and to me Cycle Gear is definitely more the budget-minded solution when comparing them. I didn't think much of rider2rider, but it's been over a year since I've been there. I know the owner (sorta ) from way back. He worked in parts at Honda Suzuki North where I bought my CBR, then at Maxim in Plano/Allen (maybe before it was Maxim). Maxim Honda has one of the larger accessory departments as for dealerships.

Re: riding gear in metroplex
Best= moto liberty
Biggest = cycle gear
I've spent over $3500 dollars at MotoL, and was pleased to do it every dime. Great people, competitive prices.
Literally spent 2 hours trying on helmets, left without buying, came back in and was happily greeted by the guy who spent that time with me. I don't know if he gets comission, but if so he's a happy dude off of me. Joseph be if you go.

MotoLiberty is the best. Tremendous selection of quality brands, great service, and lots of customer appreciation events. Several grand spent there for me, too.

I'm not sure if I should say this (no age jokes, wise-asses)...but I've been shopping there since 1990 or so, back when they were upstairs over by Valwood Parkway I think it was.Fussy wrote:MotoLiberty...lots of customer appreciation events.
I always find it a little strange that when they are having a customer appreciation event, I get the text on a Friday afternoon, for a Saturday event. Short notice for sure.
