I had planned on it, but my allergies kicked my ass hard core, I woke up then decided staying in bed was best.

And it poured so I am curious if they even rode at all.

They rode. One of the problems was the planned route was closed because of flooding. There were too many riders and it really ahould have broken into groups. It wasn't anywhere near as fun as the first ride i did with them.

I went down the week before and found many of my usual routes flooded. It's crazy. Who knows when they will open again.

My friend and I split off and made it back to Arlington and in the garage just before it started pouring. No rain before that.

Did they go down around Lake Whitney? That is where we went Saturday and all of the roads around the lake were closed due to flooding.

I hear there is a website that lists all of the state's road closings and is supposedly updated daily. I'm assuming TxDOT most likely.

We broke off early as they were headed that way. One too many stops. One too many straight boring roads. One too many squids bunching together too closely and cutting people off inches in front of the next guy like they were on the track.

I am glad I didn't go then. People that ride like that get under my skin because that is just an accident waiting to happen.
