CMRA

Post by Sconway » Tue Nov 28, 2017 7:21 pm

Are there any takers on splitting a race bike and doing some endurance races? I was thinking ultra lightweight or lightweight. I am not looking to be a fast team, just get more time on a track. I plan on getting my license during this next year on my gsxr or a yet to be acquired track bike. There seem to be options for filling in on other teams or buying into a team, but that might be difficult with a provisional novice jersey, so this may be the way to go.

Sounds fun, do you think Justin or one of his friends might be interested?

Yeah, I think him and Calvin are interested. I am looking for a CMRA prepped bike. I will probably spend all next season just trying to figure everything out.

Tha'ts pretty much how my HS track coach coached us in discus throwing. "Just a little more height, and a little more distance and you'll be doing good." Pretty much an exact quote. He was such a tool.

I'm 47 in February, is that too old?

I've been thinking about this same thing since my first track day back in '14, the hard part will be parting with the $275, I haven't paid for a track day since '14 either.

I'm thinking a R3 or Ninja 300.

Jon/Stardog on here is/had a CMRA license, I'm sure he can give a heads up.

Only 6? You can do better than that.

47 is not too old. There are 250s for really cheap, ninja 300s are a bit more scarce, and I have not seen a reasonable r3. rc390s are all pricey. I have also seen a few cbr500s ready to race for 2900.

Ripped my pec major off the shoulder tie in.

They lifted my delt up, moved some nerves and stuff, cut a channel down into the bone, stretched the connections back up and bolt it into the bone channel.

Holy Crap! When did this happen? Dam next you need an overhaul like that one, just choose the Wolverine option, its a little bit more $$$ but you get blades and bulletproof! You would make a good Wolverine!!! Sorry about the pain, that sucks!
