I don't think I would ever have a bike with a single-sided swingarm, much less a single-sided front fork... I just don't trust it...

Suzuki put out this same desighn in the mid 80. It was called the NUDA, but it never got out of japan

I have to agree, a single sided front fork would be kinda scary. But I don't mind a single sided rear, look at the MV Agusta, singled sided rear and a hell of a bike.

Single sided front suspensions are uncommon, but not at all unheard of. Quite a few scooters sport single-sided fronts, as did the 1993-'96 Yamaha GTS1000. The main problem with them, like SSSAs, is that the additional weight compared to a traditional double-sided setup negates any other advantages they might provide. Catastrophic failure isn't too much of a worry, or I'm sure manufacturers would have stopped making them long ago for fear of litigation.

The big problem with SSSA's is the torque would cause the rear wheel to twist a bit and was causing issues with racers.

I would think simular issues would occure with the front under heavy breaking.
