WTF?
It seems as though my luck has been steadily getting worse over the last few weeks...
Last night I went to golds gym in arlington, worked out, and headed back home. Upon arrival at my house, I was missing my passenger seat. WTF? I guess I didn't latch it well after unlocking my helmet...
Now I am looking at spending $80 on something I rarely use accept to have locking storage.... Ridiculous.
Anything like this ever happen to anyone else?

I often worry about it, but maybe that's what causes me to make sure that I hear the 'click'. Post up your bike make and model ... maybe someone has an extra they can loan you for while as you're checking out Ebay.

You've got an SV, right? I've got an extra one sitting in my garage (I think, I'll check in a few minutes). You're welcome to have it. Also have a rider's seat... I was planning on reupholstering them for better comfort, but then I realized it would be easier to just buy a new motorcycle...

I just remembered, you have a 1st gen, don't you? My passenger seat is definitely available, but it's off of a 2nd gen, and I'm not sure if they are compatible. If they are, let me know quick, and I can stash it outside my front door before I leave tomorrow, and you can come get it at your leisure.

I guess I'm lucky. Mine bolts on, so I wouldn't be losing it. However, it is a pain in the rear to break out the allen wrench every time I want to get in there, which isn't often, you can't fit anything more than the manual in there.
