Hello all

Tell us a little about yourself and say hello to the gang. We would like to hear about who, what, and why you ride as well as how you found us.

Hello all

Post by Rhino » Thu Jan 21, 2010 11:44 am

I've bumped into a few of you at events before. Been riding for just about three years now. Had a Ninja 500, switched to a cruiser, and just switched back to the sporty world with an '08 Concours 14. Figured I'd stop in and say hello, since you folks seem to know a thing or two about picking up the pace on the back roads around here.

I'm a Fort Worth local, been living downtown for the last few years now. I'll probably be tagging along with you all on a ride or two to see what the club is all about. Looking forward to meeting some new riding buddies! Hope you don't mind the saddlebags. :D

welcome!
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body; but rather to skid in sideways thoroughly used up, totally worn out and yelling at the top of your lungs "Holy Shit...What a ride!"

We've had Connies with us before who can handle their own. Saddlebags or not, you are welcome to ride with us as long as you are comfortable with the group, and we are comfortable with you.

Welcome to the boards, and hope to see you on a ride soon.

Had the Connie since Saturday, and done about 350-400 miles. :)

Thanks to this forum, I found RideSmart, and signed up for the March 20th class at Cresson. So if any of you folks are riding Level 1, I'll be the guy on the Connie. ;)

I may be riding Level 2 that day but if not I'll be stopping out to watch for a bit.

Come out to the next bike night and meet the group, so you'll know us when you see us at the track. There is almost always 1 of us there when ridesmart is at ECR and MSRC.

Welcome, Dave! Enjoy your time on the boards and hopefully I get a chance to meet you soon. Nothing wrong with saddle bags ... they give us a place to ask the owner to put things when we don't have room. :-)
