Not making it this time... lack of sleep is getting the better of me.
I have come up with a idea, and I want to run it past you guys.
Thinking about taking a sheet of diamond plate (something that takes 4 guys to move by itself) and welding some D-Rings, and possibly locking pins onto.
Place diamond plate into parking spot, and drive bike(s) onto it. Use one of those security chains that is supposed to be "cutter proof/pick proof" and possibly some sort of other locking mechanism.
The way I see it, if it takes 4 people to move the plate by itself, it would take double that to pick up with a bike attached to it. Then there is the matter of placing it in a truck or on a trailer (surely, security can't miss a trailer in an underground garage.
Taking recommendations on chain types... i have looked at a few but unsure of how they perform.

The meaning of life is good sex and a fast motorcycle. I would combine the two, but I would end up wheelie-ing the girl and spooging on my bike.

I thought you had your bike chain locked to something when it was taken?
I have a Kryptonite disk lock that I like, and they sell what they call the New York Chain lock, which is a disk lock and chain and they have an Anti-Theft Protction thing. I can't find the details on it but they refund you up to $3000 if your bike is stolen in addition to what ever your insurance covers.

You are probably better off just finding the strongest lock and chain and locking it to the post you used before. Not sure locking it to a steel plate is any more secure. The weakest link is going to be the lock, and I don't think they have come up with one that is not pickable/breakable yet.
Remember, if they really want it bad enough, they will get it.

Well, I have a bit of closure.
I went to the office, and analyzed the video monitoring rig. It's a sanyo DVR, only capturing the last 2 days of footage.
The bike is gone.
I vented to them, and now it looks like they are going to try to get me into one of their townhomes. 900 sq ft, with a garage. I will be able to orchestrate my own security.
As far as the bike is concerned... I am addicted to riding, and the club. I will be selling my v-star, paying off the remaining note on the R6, and purchasing a R1. I don't know how long all of this is going to take, but that is the plan, and I think I have the means to pull it all off. Not before track day, but there will be plenty more track days, rides, and bike nights.
Who knows... maybe the R6 will come back. Doubt it, but if it does, it would make a good track bike, or a bike for the blizz.
I feel better now, at least.

As for the dimond plate, you are better off chaining it to a post. The diamond plate could be cut out around the ancour points with a simple cut-off wheel. Then they would have your bike, chain, ancour, and a chunk of the dimond plate. Truth is, as every one elss claims, if they want it bad enough, they will find a way to get it. The best thing you can do is keep it as far out of sight/temptations way as you can. The garage will be a good thing, I would still think about putting it inside. Either way best of luck with the new security measures.
