Yeah, what's your current price list Jimbo? Several years ago ('07 I think) it was around $85/case of 12. According to Amsoil's website, it's $11.20 / qt., or a case of 12 for $133.05. That's cheaper than what I was buying Mobil 1 by the quart at CycleGear for...

Oooh, Amsoil also sells it by the 55-gallon drum for only $1968.65! Sign me up for 2!

Haha.

I get it cheaper then what's listed on the website. Let me know what you need and I can get you a price.

That works out to still about $9 a quart. :( I'll stick with Automobile Mobil 1 without the friction modifiers. It's usually between $6 and $8 per quart and I don't have to worry about ordering it, just pick it up in the store.

So we keep the oil in the club garage (i.e. Grinner's house). Let the jokes proceed... Everyone goes to Grinner's to get lubed up...

I have run Mobil 1, Castrol, Amsoil, and Valvoline fully synthetics. The only thing I have noticed between the various synthetics and standard dino oil was a larger hole in my wallet. The oil cleanliness was the same at each oil change, the operating temperature of my bike was the same, the time between oil changes was the same... You want to reduce operating temperature, get some Engine Ice.

I personally run the synthetics because it gets a better coating across all of the internal parts, helping to eliminate any could-be hot spots, but that's not from any actual science, that's just from my own perceptions of what's happening inside the engine.

I believe it's only available in one weight, 5W-40.

Heh, I'm the one that runs the expensive motorex... But that's only because no-one keeps a full-synthetic 15w-50 in stock, except for cyclewerkz who always has 15w-50 full synthetic mototrex; and Don't ever feel like ordering and waiting on a whole case.

Hah, the mfg recommended oil on the KTM is Motorex 10-50, I took one look at the price tag and was like "fuuuuuuuuck that!" $16/qt or something ridiculous like that.
