Yeah, when you break it down, you're basically getting paid $120 for a 10 hour day. I can think of several much quicker ways of making $120.

I can't, the problem is where can you find a one day gig that pays more than $120? You go to manpower or something you'll get pimped for minimum wage or something.

For short notice one day, one off employment, $120.00 isn't bad. "on the side" contract work just isn't around these days.

Um....sumtine else to think about....tax free credit and getting up closer than at the fence...this is what im happy bout!
Plus, like is always said, a slow day at the track beats a good day at work!
So in a way it is getting paid tax free for doing something I love to do rather than be at work for another day gettin taxed to death and bein bored.

No i totally agree, but with one day of work off it's not where i want to be. Plus i'm a single guy and sitting on a stand all day doesn't get me far with the ladies. I have far better chance at the pool!

Look at it this way: spending your day off watching bikes while not getting any action vs. spending your day at the pool and not getting any action...

Doing trackdays, becoming a better rider, and telling chicks at the pool about riding the track increases your chances more than the alcohol.

Plus when you get home, you'll be tired and wanting some relaxation, and what better way to relax out by a refreshing pool, where when the women ask what have you been doing all day, you can then tell them all your track stories about how fast you were, and how you passed everyone at will, and yadda yadda yadda....you have them now. So....you can still do two birds with one stone, and if you're really lucky you'll end up with 'two birds with one stone, keith!'

This is wisdom. I've never gotten anything but doe eyes from women when I tell them I spent the weekend at the track.

Invite them out next time to watch you zip by in your leathers on your super sport!! Unless you want to just chill by/in the pool telling women (who probably don't believe you, until they actually see you out there on the track) that you were on the track.
