MVRider - can you make it in 2 weeks time? I'll be there, and Miles said he's keen also.
Anyone else?

I'm gonna try- all depends if I can get the old rustbucket DR of mine running again after all these years.

Are you asking if I can make it on the 3rd of next month? I think that will work for me.

Today was awesome, until the front end got away from me and i went foward without the bike. My shoulder took the full impact and i knew i was done. I'm going to wait a day or so to see if ineed x rays. The top of my shoulder has swollen up pretty good in one area. Can't do anything with my arm at all! Anyways good, day and glad it happened there with shaun instead of people i don't know or on the streets. Thanks Shaun!!!

I thought it is a bad thing to wait on xrays because waiting could mean the need to have the doctor snap it again. I could be all wrong on this. Either way that sucks but it is good that you where with friends.

Such a shame the battery in my GoPro died so early. I saw the whole thing through the dust. You were going much faster today than ever before Miles and saved a few nice big slides. I can see you're learning a lot.
I guess this was also your first lesson in how to crash. Tuck and roll baby. Like I did 5 minutes earlier. Same cause, same crash, but the roll saved me from any injuries.
Like I said, better to crash a dirtbike on grass than an R6 on asphalt.

I would would have given anything to have that on video! Well i woke up this morning and have a bit more mobility out of it, but you get to a certain point(which isn't much movement) and it hurts really bad, so i still can't do anything with it. It's also still swollen up. Anyways im just going to play it by ear. As long as i'm getting better every day i don't see any reason to go get x rays.

If it still hurts that much, and is swollen that baddly, I'd head in for some x rays. Sounds like you've at the least cracked something and if you don't imobilize it, or what ever you're likely to make the break worse.

Update: Talked to a guy yesterday who told me i had a seperated shoulder(not dislocated!). He was spot on with everything he was telling me and i also checked it on the net. Anyways, it is healing up very fast. I have much more movement today and it feels much better. Still swollen, but it has went down a lot. So as long as it keeps feeling better every day i won't be going to get it checked up.

Anyone out there interested in another trip to Haslet for some dirt track riding? So far I'm planning to be there with a ridesmart regular on a Husqvarna plus maybe one more. We're planning on the weekend of the 18th. Unfortunately the RMZ sold so I dont have a spare bike anymore.

Post up if you're interested.

We're heading out to Haslet again this weekend. We might have a spare bike but not sure about that yet. I'll be there with at least one Ridesmart regular. Anyone else interested?

Once we get a bike for my daughter, we will join you (it probably won't be until around christmas though).

Unfortunately no.
We actually were planning on making it to Barber this year - Tina was going to visit family in Alabama while I was riding. Then we found out my niece was arriving from Sydney on Monday.

Sunday, not sure of exact time yet. might be early to avoid the heat, might be later. I'll post up when we know exactly. So far it looks like we'll have a Husqy motard, my ktm half-tard and a spare crf250.
