Steph and I should be in two-up, depending on weather.

Could someone please PM me the route so me and milesmiles can meet up later tomorrow with the group? Perhaps a phone number we could call and find out current location when we are on our way?

Hey guys, we had a mech issue on the road and had to do an audible, Rhino sprung an anti-freeze leak and his bike was pissin all over the place and up his leg, we split up and he took his Bike to DS's cause it was close.

Did you guys meet up and head down to the malt shop?

Made it to the Kawasaki dealer with antifreeze still spraying out, so I'm calling it good.

Gonna be a $800 repair (the radiator is $600), but at least the bike didn't overheat and trash the engine.

A friend met me at the dealer about 10 minutes after I got done with dropping the bike off.

Thanks Fixxer for being persistent with pointing out that it smelled like antifreeze, and thanks DS for making sure I got everything taken care of. I'm home safe, the Versys should be back on the road in a week.

DS good beginning ride. I am sorry I had to cut out early. :(( Since I went in the opposite direction of you guys, I took Fm 4 all the way up to 180 and then 180 to 20. I figured I would make my own ride since I couldn't stay with you. Well, at least I got a partial DS ride in :D Maybe next time, it will be a complete one. Thanks for leading!!!

Rhino, sorry to hear about what happened but at least you were with the guys when it happened. Thanks for tailing!!

Good to see Fireblade, Striple and Firewall out there. It has been a while since I have done a ride with you guys (first for fireblade and possibly firewall, I believe). Glad Steph decided to come along. She makes the group look so much prettier:D

I guess if Kess is around, then armedandinsane will be around too. Kess, you need to make more events (now that is 3 girls with bikes...El Diabro has a gf that rides but I don't know how often she rides with these guys).

Happy riding!!! See y'all on the next ride (or maybe sooner....if you are lucky :D)

yea we made it to the malt shop. When i got my phone out i saw Darcs text saying y'all weren't going to make it. Hauke and i just took some back roads back to our starting point at the speedway. On the way there i got pulled over. Long story short the cop was really nice and just told me he couldn't see my inspection(which i showed to him). Then he said it was nice to see me in all my gear. I asked if i could take a pic with the cop car and my bike, which he was cool with. Check out my FB :)

I go in about 140 miles today, it was fun miles. Get it Miles? Nevermind...

We got to the malt shop and had a malt. The lady there had some attitude but other than that it was a good ride. Just missed some rain.

Yeah the forcast and radar during lunch scared everyone and they wanted to run straight home. There were 4 of us though that took a shorter then planned back roads path. Pace was bumped up a bit but we never saw any rain and I'm sure we could of went to the malt shop and still not hit rain. It hasn't rained at my place yet, just like I said it wouldn't. :)

In my defense I was planning on going ether way, but it sure makes for a better view with her along.

EL Diabro has a gf ?!?!? does his wife know about her?
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body; but rather to skid in sideways thoroughly used up, totally worn out and yelling at the top of your lungs "Holy Shit...What a ride!"

As far as I know, he is still married. I meant a friend that is a girl not a girl-friend. Geez. That is what you say. Let's see how many more times we see Kess than you :D

In my defense, it wasn't actually a gravel road, just a piss poor patch job that was more rock then asphalt.

Yea I wasn't expecting that, its like they ran out of the tar in the asphalt and they just threw the little rock down all over.

I figured you still deserved your own poster tho :D

If I was skilled at photoshop I'd put your face in there with that look on your face, thinking, wondering, plotting, for that next gravel road.

I just have to poke fun, any time you go out and explore your bound to find less that proper roads, it happens.

Thanks for leading the ride today, Jared, Steph and I split up and headed back on 377, stopped off at Grinner's (they weren't home), then headed back. Becky, this was at least my second ride with you! I know I'm not THAT that easy to forget! Hehe...

I thought I did another ride with you but I can't remember which ride...probably the one where MOS led. I usually ride as close to the front as possible and this last ride, I was towards the rear (behind you and Steph). That is probably why I don't remember who all I have ridden with before, seeing how most of everyone is behind me :D
