Off topic: Apparently one of Claudia's undergraduate TAs came to class wearing a RideSmart shirt today. The funny thing is that he doesn't even ride, and had no idea what RideSmart is. He bought the shirt at Goodwill because he thought it looked cool.

DS -- don't forget to bring your back protector on Saturday. RS (and common sense) require it for L3.

There is a club ride that is posted to go to the track, and if all goes well there will be a parade lap.

Matt, I very strongly recommend you sign up for riding MSRC on Nov 18th, either in the cruiser or beginner class. It will do wonders for your riding, getting to work on cornering your bike in a safe, controlled environment.

I was honestly thinking about it, my problem is lately I haven't been able to do much riding period.

Won't matter. If you're not feeling confident sign up for the cruiser group, those guys are slow as hell.

I'm sure if I do a search I could find it, do they allow you to go up in level if there is an opening? Say I sign up for cruiser but feel that's way to slow and would like to move up to novice is that something that could be possible?

Sure, but having watched the cruiser class before there's not much difference between the fast cruisers and L1 sport bikes. A bunch of the "cruisers" were experienced riders on Goldwings.
