Sadly I can't get blitzed, I'm meeting some friends at 7:30am up in Keller to start a trip up to Mena for riding and BBQ.
oh so we can't get invited!
Nope, I was the one invited.

Besides, nobody showed up for my ride last weekend. Clearly only a few people in this club ride any significant distance. :D

My bike was sitting in Austin on stands waiting for tires to be mounted... :(

Sorry, I'd love to have made it, raining here all day Saturday on and off, but rode about 225 miles on Sunday with a couple of friends. Found and refound some rides down this way I need to post for when someone is making a Hard 8 run that some of you may not know about.

I'll be there early too, probably 6:30ish. Gonna leave work at 5 and go get a haircut so I'm extra pretty for 82.

Well I want to thank those who welcomed me at the meet. I don't remember all your names so please forgive me. I thought I had posted I was going to the Happy Birthday meet guess I didnt. Anyway I got the impression that I should'nt have been there. I felt like I was intruding on your "cliche" for that Im sorry. Btw happy birthday to your club. I tend to make my decision whether to get to know people, and for that matter ride with people by meeting them. The first meet I went to was cool everyone I met there was friendly. Those same people were friendly and welcoming to me at this meet, but most others didn't bother inroducing themselves. I got the "standoffish vibe". I have found a group of riders who are totally opposite of this club, they are friendly, very helpfull, ready to ride and so far pretty much ride every weekend. I will not be attending any more meets. Thanks! Cya round keep the rubber side down!
Anything below 90 is too slow -100 is just right -anything above 105 is icing on the cake!

Sorry to hear this peppers, tonight was a little bit different meetup with some people showing up that we haven't seen in a while, so it was harder for people like me to make my rounds and talk to people, so I can understand why you would have gotten that impression.

That being said, always more than welcome to show up for any of the rides/events!

Peppers I can understand how you could feel that way. The first bike night I went to it was kind of the same way. Felt very out of place kind of just stood in the corner. That was two years ago and now when I show most people know my name and everyone is very nice. I have only been to 5 bike nights in two years and have been on about 4 club rides.

Peppers it was nice to meet you tonight and hope tonight doesn't discourage you from attending again.
