Places to look for good tire/parts prices.

Post by DemonDuck » Wed Mar 18, 2015 5:24 pm

Not sure if there has ever been one of these but I thought it would be good to have a sticky that anyone can simply click on links of places we have found to have great prices. We can add to the list as we find new places with good Tire/parts prices and such. I will try to jump in now and then to add any links to this original post to keep it easy to find. Can one of you important people please make this a sticky if you feel its a solid idea?

Honestly, I get the Metzeler's I buy through Eurosport cheaper than anywhere else I could find them. Go figure.

I just got a couple sets of 120/180 Q3's from MotoMummy. Two sets for $489 shipped after tax ($244 a set). Ordered yesterday at 4pm, they are on a FedEx truck for delivery today (free shipping). Also will get the $50 rebate.

Set of Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa, SC1. I normally prefer their Diablo Superbike slicks with a 200 rear, but the new Supercorsa are fantastic, even with a 180/60 rear.

Are these race / track only tires, or good for street also?

Race tires. They stick like glue when kept in their optimal temperature range, but would not be a good choice for the street. Also, they wear like ice on the street.

I remember when Scott was selling his AMA team's used practice race tires and such for $100 a set, he wouldn't sell them unless you promised to not use them on the street. I heard from Justin that someone did anyways, the tires were bald down the middle after 200 miles.

I sell my take-offs to squids sometimes. They like them for doing wheelies.
