Touring is such a blast! I did five states (TX, NM, CO, UT, AZ) a couple of years ago, and aiming for another six state trip next month.

Hell when I lived out in PA I'd hit 3 or 4 states on a typical ride. ha!

Kentucky, Tennessee, Missouri, Arkansas and Texas...in one day...in March. It was a little crispy that morning, about 28. My gear back then, insulated coveralls. Still, it was a great ride, even if it was almost all slab. A bad day of riding (riding, not crashing), is better than a...well, you get the point.
