Intermediate Sunday September 6th

FWMR Club Ride

Meetup: Cracker Barrel - DENTON TX
N -35 &, I-35 Frontage Rd, Denton, TX 76207

Kick stands up: 9:29am
Ride Leader: Milesmiles
Route plan: short short ride that will let us get out and stretch our legs for a bit. Plan on a little over 100 miles not including your ride to denton. THE RIDE ENDS IN DENTON FOR LUNCH AT FROSTIES, eta NOON. If you never had their homemade root beer then you're in for a treat

This will be an intermediate pace ride. The pace on the country roads is what we call spirited and has a tendency to remain above posted speeds. On an Intermediate ride the ride leader will keep an eye on the group but is also focused on riding his/her own ride. Intermediate rides the riders are expected to be comfortable riding with the group and have good self control, allowing the ride leader to "relax" a bit. With that said, i plan on dipping in and out of intermediate, so with will be on the slightly slower side.

Please be dressed appropriately, full face helmet, zip together mesh at a minimum (leathers recommended), appropriate motorcycle boots and gloves, jeans are not appropriate protection for intermediate rides.

Yep, I know. We're a little fuzzy on what we're doing, especially Monday. I had thought that might be a good day for a ride, but wasn't sure. So I have a problem knowing my own schedule.

AND, to be honest, I love following miles on intermediates...I pretend he's fast and that I can keep up with no problem. Plus, Frosty's Root Beer...need I say more?

as much as I'd like to join yall, got my daughter here, and my wife wants to spend time with me since its my only weekend day off. And of course its the dreaded take the laundry to the laudrymat day.

I know there isn't anyone here that has signed up that can make it, but I'm having issues with the clutch sensor on my bike again and cannot make it. I will still be coming out there in my truck to apologize to anyone who did show up. If you want to come back to my place lunch is on me
