More challenging than Cresson. A few spots have a tendency to weep water, well after a rain. Considering the rain this coming week, I'd expect it to for sure. But you can negotiate them, and it should be better in the PM.JeffStrom wrote:How is ECR? Anyone planning on going?
Supposed to have repaved it all the past couple of years but I don't think that has happened yet.
ECR will force you to be more technical in all you do, which can be a good thing. That's my take, others have spent more time there however and may have better insight.

Me too. In its current state its too dangerous to do anything more than a charity run.fixxervi6 wrote:I won't ride ECR until they resurface it, but that's just me.

As for the layout of the track, I find it kind of dull. There are a couple of technical spots, but the track largely feels like a long straight followed by two 90 degree turns. I prefer either version of MSR to ECR.

Never been on ECR and never will if they don't fix the track.

The track was made for high hp cars for testing. Then they just never really cared to fix the track. I haven't been up there since last December but it wasn't getting repaved then and I doubt it has been repaved yet. I agree that is kind of a dull track and the different surfaces just makes it hard to get grip.

Looks like it was cancelled. From the reaction here, it was probably due to lack of interest.
