What's surprising is how many times can he shut down? ha!

That's the funny thing. Some will look at their Buell bikes as collector's items and want to charge a lot. Others I think will look to drop them like a hot potato, but I think those that wanted to do that already did when Harley dumped them. It's like computer memory types...first it's expensive when it's brand new tech, then it's dirt cheap when everyone starts making it, and then when it gets old/scarce enough it gets expensive again. Personally whether it's guns, motorcycles, or any collectable - I want to be able to use it and not just look at it. Parts for Buells will become even more scarce than they are now. That will drive the part prices up, but somehow I don't think the bikes will go up in value that much. There was never that much demand for them to begin with. Paying out the ass for parts to keep me riding a bike just doesn't sound like fun. Keeping it in the garage and not riding it sounds like less fun. So for me...no Buells in my future. Just my opinion though.

Not all rare things are collectible......

I think any money to be made on the Buell name is already in process; someone is buying up all the spare parts in inventory.....

My 1125R is on consignment at Eurosport. I don't think anyone wants it, but I could get a surprise phone call any day I suppose.
