I don't understand the low power theme at Honda. I love my 09CBR1000rr, but if I were to buy a new 2017 bike today it would likely be the the R1, then S1000rr, GSXR, or ZX10 I need to see the Aprilia longevity improve otherwise that might be my first choice.

It's the price that gets me, 149hp at the wheel is still crazy power, but it costs the same as the others with less power and less rider aids

I did just hit 20,000 miles on the CBR coming home from work today, and if it were not for that $#@! ABS brake issue it has only required maintenance since I bought it with 3,500 on the clock. Aren't most Jap bikes dependable like that?
