Kind of expensive. Probably better than filling up Powerade containers, though.

Well I stored extra water on top of my luggage bags with a dromadary, this would work the same way for gas - easy to carry

Interesting, so this is a soft bladder to carry gasoline externally on your bike. I'd think soslow would be all over this.

hahahaha
from the website: Note: The Gas Bag Fuel Safe Bladder is not a portable or long-term fuel storage container as described by ASTM, EPA, ARB or other state or federal agencies.

no water-balloons full of fire for me but admittedly, I am a bit of a scaredycat.

I wonder how long one made for water would hold up to gas. If it lasts a week it might be worth it to buy one for long trips, then toss it. Assuming you only do one or two a year.

regarding the longevity of a camel back holding gas--- I will bring an old bladder to the ride on sunday if you would like to run a trial. it is super old and has been out of service for a while so no loss to test.

You can buy 750ml or 1L aluminum fuel bottles pretty cheap if shop around. I'd think that would be a much better choice than trying to use a bladder made for water for this type of thing, and they would be reusable.

I'd rather not test it on a ride and end up spraying gas all over the place if it falls. :-D

You would need 4 of them to hold 1 gallon. Storage room is also an issue as they take up the same space full or empty. I like the idea of the bladder, but the cost is way too high. It can fold up when empty.

Crashing with a camel back full of gas could be damned interesting - it would add to the pucker factor of everyone else watching you tumble waiting for the fireball. This could be fun.

Yep I looked into it, they make real nice mounts for the GS and such but 1 liter of fuel is like nothing unless your on a small dual purpose

I did a quick search for alternatives, but the smallest I could find was 25 gallons. It was expensive, too. This might be worth the cost if you travel to remote locations often.

I did not mean to try it out on a ride. I would put a little gas in it and hang it over a bucket and check it everyday until the bag is jelly and you have a mess to deal with. probably best to do it in a neighbors garage.

Live a little, try it on a ride. If the bag melts will doing 110 down through the gap that could be just as interesting
