Better adjust that attitude before you get on the track! :-) First time or two, go out there to learn, not to prove anything. Have a good time and come away realizing that there's so much fun doing it that you HAVE to do it again.

Hey Man, glad to hear you are doing ok. Just pop him an e-mail ridesmart@mac.com. They will get right back with you. Or there is another post I put up about a camera worker opportunity that has Dave's number in it if you wanna call him.

See Wes, we haven't forgot you. You are still currently a meatball. The only meatball actually because someone is slow on the ball and hasnt taken Avi and Karl off the list

Nope, we're not slow. They don't get removed from meatball status till there club dues are paid in full. HA! lol

Unless they have paid Jim and he hasn't updated the database then it's Jim's fault. lol

For anyone that sees this i just called in my Raincheck for the same day as you Alstare. They still have levels 1, 3, and 4 open. There is a phone number in the thread that mentions being a camera person on the 5th. Hope that helps someone.

Your breif periods will be before track day starts and after its done. Maybe 10 min for lunch. From the time you go out to your corner, until they no longer need you, you will get no breaks. One group or another is always on the track, and the 30 minuted for lunch gets cut short because they want you on your corner before getting the riders in the paddock. And the riders are anxious to get back out.

Blizz is right. When you're working corners, you're the safety valve for those that are riding. We count on you to not only do what RideSmart asks, but to let us know if we can open it up on BLIND corners or not.

Working the corners is fun, but a lot of work. You see the OTHER side of doing an event like this and appreciate it a lot more when YOU are the one twisting the throttle. We can't do this safely without CORNER WORKERS doing their part ... a nod of the head when you pass to acknowledge what they are doing for you when you get the chance is just plain polite!

The first time I worked the corners, I was saluted (no, NOT ONE FINGER) more than once and I really didn't understand it until recently ... that was just riders saying 'Thank You'. Go for it when you can, Guys ... when we can't ride, for whatever reason, we SUPPORT those that can!

It's usually open all day, but there's usually something going on as well. 5:00 is the usual time when people start showing up to drop stuff off.

Just give me a call 682-225-7701 I will prolly be out there around 5pm. I want to get back home in time to watch the cowboys game. Avi, there is prolly room for your bike in the trailer as well, I just couldn't haul 3 bikes but for just sitting there it should be fine.
